To our surprise, Arenal was sending signals from both of her peaks. This was a very interesting new development. It was speculated that this double smoke stack affect may indicate that Arenal was planning on changing her exit path once again.

6 AM…Arenal was quiet this morning and I knew that I was up WAY too early. After writing about yesterday’s rafting adventures and most deserved evening at the Tabacon hot springs, Lee and I were driven to the floor of our cabin by the sounds of what our military background assured us was gun fire.
