“Rockstar Platinum Live is Gonna Change My Life!”
Friday, February 20th, 2009“Rockstar Platinum Live is gonna change my life!”
This from a gentle soul who had all but given up on his dreams of not relying on “the man” to fund his future and very lively hood.
You see, Fred Barnes, is from Detroit.
He used to work for “the man” at GM, but we all know what has happened at GM lately. No need to go into the abuse of corporate and government powers at work there.
Would it surprise you to know that Fred lost his job two months ago (yes, right before Christmas – merry freaking Christmas indeed).
Fred, who had not missed a single day of scheduled work in 13 years was dismissed like he was one of those used up old tires.
Fred, who had to look his wife in the eye and tell her that they couldn’t spend that extra money on their grand baby, Erika, because they needed to save every cent.
Cause Lord only knew when he would be able to find another job in Michigan, of all places.
But Fred has found the “light at the end of the tunnel”.
